How to be a Winner

There has been busy at work recently... really really stressed out and there was one time I am in the giving up mode... I thought there was some many beyond my control, I lost my ability to influence, I lost my ability to change people, I lost my ability to lead... there was really bad and really dark...

It wasn't a good feeling at all... I thought the people are not doing me justice... people are making things difficult for me, people do not want to make decision and throwing all the mess to me... I thought everyone is not being responsible... I thought everyone is playing politics at work, they are avoiding commitment, finding escuses, doing lip services... well... it was just everyone is wrong, only I am right...

Oh god... it was really terribly feeling, I lost my fun both at work and at home... well... I learned something then... if I take control of everything, I can change... I need to have a paradigm shift then... either I choose to be suffering or I change my attitude...

Surprising, things change... everything seems to make a U turn and now working well... I dun rely on others to make decision, my objective is clear, set a goal and get it done... suddenly, I am un-tied... I am free... I am in control and I gain back all my ability to influence, I gain back my ability to change people and I gain back my confidence...

One really important lesson is competency = skill + attitude + desire, many time when we hit a roadblock, it is not that we lost our skill or ability, it is that we lost our attitude to continue to change.
